Hosting without headaches
I'll just say a few things. The up time is great, tech support knowledgeable and friendly, the variety of hosting plans suggested is great, 2 free domain names, dozens of pre-installed scripts. I made my choice and never regretted it.
 
VPS is outstanding
We used to have our website at other hosts' VPS. In comparison with InMotion they were really very slow. InMotion's VPS is fast and easy to connect to. I regret only the time we wasted on other web hosting companies. Used to be great
When I just signed up to BlueHost few years ago it was really a very good webhost. Now when they host more than 740,000 domains they seem to have difficulties handling them. Too many downtimes to my mind. and too difficult to get to support team.
 
Unlimited is not unlimited at all.
I can't recommend BlueHost. Their uptime is awfully short. And the "unlimited" disc space isn't unlimited at all. Try using more web space and you'll get your account deactivated without any notification at all! There is always a risk your website will be down at any time with BlueHost. So I don't recommend it to anyone. Great Experience with webhostingpad
I've been with webhostingpad for about half a year now and I wanted to share my experience with others. So far I couldn't be happier. They helped me to begin as I'm not quite experienced, my account was setup within an hour and I've got my domain transferred in a week. And I've been running my site without any problems. After leaving a web hosting company that never responded my emails and calls, it's finally good to find one that has such a great service.
 
Reliable and Professional
I did a bit of research before joining webhostingpad.com. I was attracted by what they had to offer. I decided to sign up with them when after sending in a sales ticket they responded within 15 min. I never regretted this decision of mine. My site is fast and has never been down. They helped me from the start, got my domain transferred and even moved by website over. I highly recommend them to everyone. By far the best hosting company
They are really the best hosting company I have seen in years. I run my company website with them, and over 40 of my customers use hostmonster either. I never had a single major problem. And my customers never complained about Hostmonster either.
 
One of the Best.
I have never had any real problems with them. I have experienced a few minor outages, but you get that with any hosting company. It has been slow at times but that is to be expected anywhere. The support has been excellent and the tech people have been knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They offer a lot for the money. I've got Linux hosting plan and no problems here. And I like their C Panel, it's great and really easy to work with. I'm tired of them
I tried to register my domain with Globat, since than I have following issues: 1. They never responded to a single one of my calls in few days. 2. They have registered my domain and charged me, but did not set up my account. Now I can't even register the domain elsewhere. 3. I can't get my money back
 
Occasional outages
Globat gives lots of storage and reasonable functionality. Though, occasional email and website outages happen rather often. I had few times when my website along with my email were unavailable for days. I know there's no such thing as a perfect web hosting. But these outages cost me money. My small business can't be run like this. Just fine hosting
I’m with Yahoo Small Business hosting for more than a year already. So far I’m pretty contented. Not that there never were any problems, but I think this webhost isn’t that bad, at least not worse than others.
 
Great hosting
Yahoo is a great web hosting company. We have been with them for 3 years already. The sitebuilder is easy to use, and has dozens of great features. The backups worked great, and I didn't lose any work. There were some problems with the email though. I have to admit the customer service leaves much to be desired, however I have had help figuring out all my problems, so I don't have any big complaints. Bad experience
My web site and email were down for more than 24 hours once, though Dot5Hosting claims to be up 99.9% of the time. They did not notify me when my site went down nor did they notify me when it was back up. Totally unprofessional to my mind.
 
Too bad
I have been using Dot5hosting for almost a year now. They have an excellent range of pre-installed software (shopping cart, word press, phpbb) and you have a good amount of web space at your disposal. Although the price is very cheap, I am going to switch providers when my time is up because their servers are very slow and their tech support is not just horrible it’s simply nonexistent. If you try to contact them by email, expect to wait several days for a response. That is, if you even get one. Too bad for one of the best hosting companies I think. It's been good once
I've been hosting several sites on Lunarpages for about 4 years. It was a really good hosting company until recently. I've been facing many outages, and poor support service and very slow response. It has been really frustrating. I'm going to quit. It's not what I expected from a highly ranked hosting company.
 
I'm disappointed
I have several accounts with Lunarpages for more than 4 years already. I have been happy with the service over the past couple of years, but recently that changed. One of the servers that hosts one of my accounts has been down for 3 days and it looks like it's going to be there for another 12 hours or more until it is back up and running. Lunarpages refuses to help me by moving my account to another server, but I desperately need my email! There's over 100 users that need to contact me and they now have to use the phone, not comfortable at all, and too bad for my business. They offer alot for the money if you can afford to be down for a long time. Great hostingt
I tried many web hosts over the years and I have to say GoDaddy are simply the best.My websites have always been perfectly up.Unlimited emails, prompt reply whenever I have any issues that need their help. I never had a bandwidth or disk space issue with them. The domain registration is smooth and fast. I changed my shared hosting plan to the dedicated one and am just happy as one can be.
 
Not as good as you'd think
I've got a shared hosting account with GoDaddy. And I'm not very happy with it. My website is loading too slow and the uptime of the site isn't excellent at all. Though the price is not that bad I wouldn't suggest anyone to use their shared hosting. Maybe their dedicated hosting is better, I do not know whether I'm going to give it a try yet. Don’t recommend
I can not recommend PowWeb. Every single day since I’m with this webhost (about10 months) my website was down. Always just for a few minutes, but it was down! I quit when they accused me in sending spam emails. I never sent spam. I sent a monthly newsletter to my subscribers. One of them mistakenly complained to powweb instead of just clicking the unsubscribe link in the email. They shut me down before I realized what happened and contacted them.
 
Looking for another hosting provider
I had switched to powweb from free hosting. I liked the features and the price. I have noticed a bit of slow responses and occasional downtime every now and than the whole time I have been with them, but figured it’s not a big deal for the price. The customer service seemed pretty good at first. The migration to the new server has not gone well so far. The customer support appeared to be clueless and not helpful at all. I faced too many problems with FTP, PHP downloads and upload recently. I am looking for another webhost.
