I’m with Yahoo Small Business hosting for more than a year already. So far I’m pretty contented. Not that there never were any problems, but I think this webhost isn’t that bad, at least not worse than others. Yahoo is a great web hosting company. We have been with them for 3 years already. The sitebuilder is easy to use, and has dozens of great features. The backups worked great, and I didn't lose any work. There were some problems with the email though. I have to admit the customer service leaves much to be desired, however I have had help figuring out all my problems, so I don't have any big complaints. I’ve got a small business, and recently decided to switch over my e-commerce website from another webhost. Yahoo is so much worse than our former host. The technical support is impossible to get to. I never got a reply to any of my tickets in 4 months I’m with them. Each time I call to try to speak to someone there is nearly an hour wait on hold. And they never seem to have any solutions to give me. There has also been several times in these few months where the server is unaccountably down and after few hours wait to get in touch with the support team, suddenly it’s up and working again - only to go down again by the end of the day. If you have a very simple site and never run into problems, Yahoo may be worth the price. Yahoo web hosting has served my company for more than 3 years. We have never had our site down, have never had any problem that couldn't be solved and Yahoo has a lot of options for the professional. Though there are some limitations I can live with them just fine. I highly recommend Yahoo web hosting for small and medium sized business.
